First Aid and Home Safety Workshop

Service Description

Delivered by a midwife and RLSS first aid trainer assessor with over 25 years of health care experience! These will be 3-hour workshops covering: - Home first aid kits: what to include - Emergency care including: CPR, choking, drowning, shock, electrocution, seizures, burns, cuts and wounds, bruises and bumps, stings and bites, eye injury, dental injury, nosebleeds, sprains, strains, dislocations, fractures and broken bones. - Allergies: signs of allergy and anaphylaxis - Caring for a poorly child, common illnesses, croup, diabetes, asthma and signs of sepsis and meningitis - Home safety: common home safety considerations and useful adjustments to help prevent accidents
